Once again we’ve reached the end of another productive month and Proven Match is here to provide you with the latest news roundup. Franchise Spotlight: Best in Class Education System Goes National

The Best in Class franchise concept is now set on rolling out their offerings on a nationwide scale. Best in Class Education System is a franchise offering education enrichment programs in math and English. With 40 regional locations now up and running, the time has come to expand even further. Now, new open territories will guarantee that all students will have a shot at Best in Class’ “Gift of a Lifetime” promise. The classes that are offered give students critical thinking skills designed to facilitate future professional and developmental achievement. Quarterly Reports

Several franchises have had a solid 1st quarter in 2017. With earnings reports out, a few of the winning concepts out there include: 

  • East Coast Wings + Grill added four new locations to their total of 60 across the east coast, proving that wings and craft beer continue to be a tried and true combination for fast casual patrons
  • Snap-On Tools, a provider of tools and diagnostic equipment, saw their 2nd quarter net sales numbers jump 6.3 percent
  • GNC Stores, a vitamin and health supplement chain, announced that five million members enrolled in the “myGNC Rewards” loyalty program

Live Conference Updates?

The IFA Multi-Unit Franchise Conference kicked off yesterday and runs through Wednesday, April 26. We can be the attendees must be having a good time, considering it’s being held at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas. If you’re out there, drop us a line! This is one of the biggest franchise expo shows of the year.

Expect some not-so-big news from Capitol Hill on Wednesday, as the Trump Administration unveils their ambitious tax cut plans, designed to effect individuals and companies. There should be a little something for everyone in the way of relief from tax reform/reduction and the franchise industry awaits with bated breath. However, according to Mick Mulvaney, director of the White House Office on Management and Budget, details to be announced will reflect “guidance” on the plans, not specific details.
