What to Expect at Phoenix’s Emerging Franchisor Conference in November

An amazing conference centered solely on franchisors is set to take place a little less than a month from now and we felt like it was important enough to do a blog about it. On Nov. 6-8, the city of Phoenix will host the 2017 Emerging Franchisor Conference at the Sheraton Grand Phoenix. According to the official website, this action-packed conference is specifically designed for “franchisors looking to connect, innovate and evolve--taking their brands to the next level.” The industry’s leading franchise voices and brands will be present, looking to pass along their secrets of success to the next emerging generation of franchisors. And, this is an official International Franchise Association (IFA) sponsored event.

The three objectives you’ll experience if your franchise brand decides to send a representative include:

- Discovering new opportunities unique to your own emerging franchise brand

- Engaging with others in an interactive learning atmosphere where you’ll learn by doing

- Applying what you learn in real world case study test situations

The featured speakers set to deliver their own inspirational franchise brand messages include some heavy industry hitters. These include Jania Bailey, CEO of FranNet Franchising, LLC, one of the leading franchise consultancy businesses in the industry. Speakers present from the brand side of franchising include Shelly Sun, founder and CEO of Brightstar Care, Nancy Bigley, CEO of Bottle & Bottega, Dawn Weiss, CMO of Amazing Lash Studio Franchise, LLC, Susan Beth, COO of NRD Capital, Mark Liston, president of Glass Doctor, Steven Murphy, president of franchising for Winmark Corporation and Art Coley, president and CEO of InXpress.

The IFA is also extending a special deal for attendees of this year’s Emerging Franchisor Conference and it involves a slot in the coveted 2018 Emerging Franchisor Bootcamp—which is a part of the IFA Annual event in February of next year. Last year, the boot camp sold out, so here’s where you or your executives could get a leg up in securing a spot. According to their own words, “Those franchisors, with 100 units or less, who sign up and attend the 2017 Emerging Franchisor Conference, will be guaranteed a spot at the

2018 boot camp!”

The 2017 Emerging Franchisor Conference is packed with insightful sessions and the titles alone are guaranteed to appeal to any franchisor on the move. Topics include managing organizational growth, funding strategies, unit level economics, brand evolution and business models, marketing supply chain strategies, communications, securing franchise capital, sales training programs, franchise organizational training, and financial performance representation in the sales process. There is literally going to be something for everyone at this conference for every small to mid-cap franchisor.

Registration fees for the 2017 Emerging Franchisor Conference are half-off if you or your organization is already a member of the International Franchise Association.
