Proven Match

It’s Science! Behavioral Assessments and Business Success

As you may already be aware, the Proven Match business model is heavily leveraged on the practice of psychometric testing to determine behavioral assessments of franchisees. It’s more or less a business suitability test for new and existing franchisees. The outcome assesses the current top-level performers, average performers and low performers in your business model. From there, the results can be utilized to determine which potential franchisees are the best suited and most likely to become future top-performers in your specific brand. To cut right to the chase, it’s a matchmaking system at heart (no pun intended).

The behavioral test we employ is called the Franchise Individually Targeted (F.I.T.) Assessment. How is it utilized? To scientifically profile current and potential franchisees. This profiling tool is based on four combined concepts: Spiral Values Dynamics, Stanford Research Institute's Values and Lifestyles (VALS™), Neuro-linguistic Programming, and Social and Emotional Intelligences.

What we want franchise brands to know is that there is real, proven science behind our proprietary process. Here, we break it down simply into a five-step process:

The first stage involves a franchise defining how it measures success. This includes, but not always limited to, assessment of a franchise’s sales, market share, revenue, compliance, best practices and profitability. Once these results are determined, a franchise now has its own set of parameters to work with.

The second stage involves benchmarking, where franchises group their existing franchisees into the three different performance categories: top, average and low.

From there, the Proven Match process involves sending the “Top-Performer” Campaign email to all potential and existing franchisees. An embedded link takes users to the assessment test.

Once completed by all existing franchisee participants, a “Top Performer” report is generated, using all of the gathered data to identify the key traits which make your best franchisees the most successful franchisees. Franchise brands can find out exactly what separates the best in their business from the least productive. Furthermore, the suggested solutions included in the report can now be implemented as a new roadmap for success.

Last, franchises armed with their proprietary results can now utilize the data to screen their new applicants by matching up the success traits of their existing top-performers.

As you can see, behavioral testing can be a valuable resource tool for franchises and small businesses. Not only will you get a birds-eye view of the best operating procedures, you’ll be able to use that information to find the next generation of successful franchisees ready to enter your business model.

The accuracy of the results of the behavioral assessments Proven Match conducts are officially listed at 93.6% accurate in predicting both the compatibility and performance of prospective franchisees. We’re so confident of our system that we even offer a free demo of its usefulness. If you have an extra half hour in your day and want to explore the F.I.T.
